Help & Questions — How Our Online Home Staging Service Works
What does the $150 service include?
The service includes a personalised styling plan for the whole home, based on the photos uploaded at checkout. The plan covers room-by-room recommendations, simple layout updates, decluttering tips and a photography-ready checklist.
How does the process work?
Photos are uploaded before adding the service to the cart.
On the product page, a green button labelled 'Upload a file' is located just above the 'Add to Cart' button. Once the photos are uploaded and the order is placed, the styling plan is delivered within 24 hours.
How many photos should be uploaded?
There’s no limit. However, the most helpful approach is to upload essential angles for each room, such as:
-
A clear full-room view
-
The main angle buyers will see
-
The entry angle when walking into the room
-
Any areas needing guidance
More photos are completely fine — simple, clear shots work best.
Do the photos need to be cleaned or styled first?
No. Photos can be sent exactly as the home currently looks. This ensures the advice is practical, realistic and easy to action.
Is new décor or furniture required?
Generally not. The styling plan focuses on using what’s already in the home. When a small addition could make a noticeable difference, a gentle suggestion may be included — but recommendations stay minimal and budget-friendly.
Is this the same as traditional home staging?
No. Prep to Sell offers expert guidance rather than physical staging. It’s an affordable, stress-free alternative that still helps the home feel fresher and more appealing to buyers.
Are outdoor areas included?
Yes. Entryways, courtyards, balconies and patios can all be reviewed if photos are uploaded.
Is paint advice included?
Yes. If a room would benefit from a refresh, the styling plan may include a shortlist of neutral, buyer-friendly colours suited to Australian homes.
Are the recommendations easy to follow?
Yes. All steps are simple, achievable and designed to make the home feel calm, tidy and welcoming — without requiring major work.
Does styling guidance really influence buyer interest?
Yes. Clean, well-prepared spaces typically attract more attention online and create better first impressions during inspections.
